I cannot relate to my care coordinator, they just keep on changing.

I have been under services for 17 years and in the last 6 years I have had 4 different care coordinators because they all leave, some tell me, some just go and there's a new person calling me or knocking at my door and this has severely impacted on my mental state. As a patient with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, I find it very de-stabilising to have different people involved in my care, having to start again building rapports and going through my life again and again. I have felt suicidal within the last few weeks but cannot discuss this with my care coordinator because he does not understand. He has never visited me at home and often arranges an appointment to the centre where I have to often wait at least 20 minutes without an apology and then I have to listen to what he has been up to and what I manage to say is practically irrelevant or looked over. All I am asking is for someone who is empathetic to my needs and whom I can feel comfortable to express my inner fears and thoughts. Why are all the staff leaving?

If you have got an answer to the question, we would like you to share the same. If you are or know someone who is going through the same situation, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to assist in the best way possible.
